Job Description
​
The Ironworks Performance Coach is responsible for developing lasting relationships with clients and athletes. As a performance coach it is your job to not only find new athletes to train, but build a lasting relationship with that athlete to not only better help them on the field and in the weight room, but outside of sports as well. Performance Coach’s work with athletes 1 on 1, in small groups, with teams, and additionally help in the development of Ironworks Performance from a brand perspective.
On a coaching level, each coach will be responsible for the development of their athletes, and athletes they come in contact with at the facility. Additionally each coach will be responsible for programming, customer service of their athletes, membership sales, new lead generation, and last but not least helping other coaches gain knowledge in the field.
All Performance Coaches have the ability to move up into a new role within the Ironworks Performance brand after 1 year on staff.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive programs that drive the athlete’s goal of becoming a better athlete

Maintain a monthly sales quota of $4500

Perform 20 lead generation activities per week

Perform 2 new performance evaluations per week for a total of 8 per month

Monitor and instruct athletes during sessions to maintain a safe training environment

Conduct performance evaluations for new athletes and a pre-participation screening, and goal setting to help athletes achieve their desired level of performance

Provide assistance to athletes and coaches on the floor to ensure a safe environment

Promote and sell performance programs to athletes

Remain current on certifications

Document all aspects of programming
Position Requirements

Maintain Own Personal Trainer Liability Insurance
-
College Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Human Physiology
-
3 years prior training experience
-
CSCS, USAW, TSAC
-
Current BLS/CPR Certification
-
Knowledge of performance coaching and athletics
-
Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter
-
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Requirements

NSCA CSCS or USAW

3 years prior experience in sales and customer service
